What is NASPO?
The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to elevating and supporting the profession of public procurement through leadership, excellence, and integrity.
NASPO ValuePoint, a division of NASPO, offers more than 60 competitively solicited nationwide cooperative purchasing portfolios and over 400 individual contracts, covering a wide range of goods and services. Multi-State Sourcing Teams comprised of state government procurement professionals, subject matter experts, and other public procurement professionals develop these competitively bid and evaluated contracts. Solicitations are issued, awarded, and administered by a Lead State, making NASPO ValuePoint unique among cooperatives.
Armed with the purchasing power of all 50 states, Washington D.C., and the US Territories, NASPO ValuePoint consistently offers states and other public entities more advantageous contracts focusing on value-added benefits and contractual protections that are important to all levels of government. NASPO ValuePoint is focused on providing resources and solutions for public procurement officials and giving back to the procurement community.
The NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Organization (formerly WSCA-NASPO) provides the highest standard of excellence in public cooperative contracting. Since 1992 NASPO ValuePoint has been the cooperative purchasing arm of NASPO (the National Association of State Procurement Officials) encouraging, fostering and guiding the nation’s most significant public contract cooperative.
